<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I am your everlasting Father"

He promises me:
  "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace". (Isa. 9:6)

My response to the word:
  To know that God is my everlasting heavenly Father is the most important information in the world. He will always be there for me. He loves me infinitely more than an earthly father loves his child. My Father makes no mistakes. I realize that my first responsibility to Him is to love Him with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and my neighbour as myself.

My prayer:
  Everlasting Father, thank you for loving me with an everlasting love. It is such a privilege to be your child. You are my safe place, Lord.

Today's scriptures:
 "Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, you were God. You are God from everlasting to everlasting". (Ps. 90:2 GW) "The name of the Lord is a strong tower. A righteous person runs to it and is safe". (Prov. 18:10 GW) "Didn't you exist before time began, O Lord, my God, my Holy One?" (Hab. 1:12 GW) "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind. And love your neighbour as you love yourself". (Luke 10:27 GW)

Quote for today:
God is a personal Father who cares, and not a God who merely wound up the world with a key and then went away to let it run by itself. (Spirit)
