<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "My Word gives you joy and enlightenment".

He promises me:
  "The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandments of the Lord are pure, enlightening the eyes". (Ps. 19:8)

My response to the word:
  I find God's commandments and His statutes in His Word. As I discover the various principles and precepts of His Word I find joy and enlightenment. God's Word brings light to my soul. I rejoice because my spirit is the candle of the Lord. The entrance of His Word gives me understanding. The mercies and salvation of the Lord come to me according to His Word.

My prayer:
  Lord God, thank you for your Word which truly does give me joy and enlightenment. Quicken me today according to your Word.

Today's scriptures:
 "Let your blessings reach me, O Lord. Save me as you promised". (Ps. 119:41 GW) "Your Word is a doorway that lets in light, and it helps gullible people understand". (Ps. 119:130 GW) "Let my cry for help come into your presence, O Lord. Help me understand as you promised". (Ps. 119:169 GW)

Quote for today:
