Today God says:
"The blood of Jesus has redeemed you and given you forgiveness of your sins"
He promises me:
"In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace". (Eph. 1:7)
My response to the word:
Through the blood of Jesus I have redemption and forgiveness. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses me of all my sin. The Bible says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".
My prayer:
Lord, thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanses me from all my sins. I will walk in His forgiveness throughout this day.
Today's scriptures:
"But if we live in the light in the same way that God is in the light, we have a relationship with each other. And the blood of His Son Jesus cleanses us from every sin". (1 John 1:7 GW) "God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins, He forgives them and cleanses us from everything we've done wrong". (1 John 1:9 GW) "Glory and power forever and ever belong to the One who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood". (Rev. 1:5 GW)
Quote for today:
I am ready to meet God face to face tonight and look into those eyes of infinite holiness, for all my sins are covered by the atoning blood. (R A Torrey)
On this day:
